After investigation, the company has the following environmental problems:

First, the rain and sewage diversion is not in place, the ceiling hanger hangs on the drying of finished wet leather, and the drip drying water is not collected directly into the rainwater pipe network through the ground.

The investigation team sampled and monitored the water in the rainwater pipe network. The monitoring results showed that COD1530mg/L, ammonia nitrogen 132mg/L and total chromium 0.30mg/L.

Second, the company has built 20 square meters of open-air sludge drying pool in the riverside area of the plant without any "Three Prevention" facilities.

Third, the company used for storing river water collection tanks, there are fixed pipes directly into the sewage treatment facilities, there is a dilution and discharge conditions.

In addition, there is an open channel drain near the company's sewage treatment facilities, which is a flood drainage ditch in Ji Kui village.

There are no effective closed measures for more than ten enterprises in the vicinity of Ji Kui village.

The investigation team sampled the water of the flood discharge ditch. The monitoring results showed that COD254mg/L, ammonia nitrogen 2.92mg/L and total chromium were not detected.

From the data analysis, there should be sewage enterprises into the flood drainage ditch.

Statistics show that in June 2010, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Hanjiang District imposed a fine of twenty thousand yuan on the illegal use of ditches containing toxic pollutants to tannery wastewater.

In May 2014, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Hanjiang District imposed a fine of 80 thousand yuan on the illegal operation of the sludge filter press which was not used by the company.

In 2014, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Hanjiang District conducted 18 on-site inspections of the company, and conducted 3 supervised monitoring of the company's wastewater discharge. The monitoring results were all up to standard.
