Chang Yizhi believes that this shortage of supply is only temporary. In the future, with the commissioning of some new devices, the situation of China's butadiene rubber market in short supply will be eased.

At present, Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical Industries Co and Michelin joint venture plan to build 30 thousand tons / year rare earth CIS polybutadiene rubber, so that the total production capacity of CBR reaches 150 thousand tons / year; PetroChina Daqing Petrochemical Co is ready to increase the output of the oil extended polybutadiene rubber, so that the total capacity can reach 100 thousand tons / year.

It is estimated that in 2010, the 30 thousand ton / year CIS polybutadiene rubber plant which has been stopped by Baling Petrochemical Project will be removed. The production capacity of CBR in China will reach 700 thousand tons / year.
