The employer said that this situation was caused by both subjective and objective factors.
First, both subjective and objective causes employment discrimination.
There are some conventional recruitment practices. For example, secretaries are all women, so it would be strange to recruit men. Women are more careful and patient, and more suitable for secretaries. As for height, appearance and other conditions, we prefer the ones with better appearance, mainly considering that the secretary also serves as part of the reception work.
Second, discrimination results from market competition.
I think on this issue, all units have the same attitude - selective admission. In economics, the root of "discrimination" lies in the scarcity of resources. The market must have competition to make the most effective use of resources, and competition inevitably means selection and elimination. Incorrect discrimination cannot be maintained in a fully competitive market. For example, we often see that wealthy people ride in luxury cars, beautiful girls participate in beauty contests, study well in famous universities, tall people play basketball, and so on. These are the general rules in social competition.
Third, there are objective reasons for discrimination.
If China has formulated laws and regulations against employment discrimination, what impact will it have on your recruitment? First of all, of course, it will be handled in accordance with national laws. But in fact, the employment discrimination that experts call is not always caused by our subjective reasons. For example, the reason why I want a Beijing hukou is not that we discriminate against students from non Beijing sources, but that the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Personnel has limited the indicators. According to the documents of the Beijing Municipal Human Resources Bureau, the employer and graduates should report to the Human Resources Bureau after reaching an agreement. After the approval of the Human Resources Bureau, the employer can sign an employment agreement with graduates only after issuing a letter of acceptance to the relevant colleges and universities. However, as we all know, the HR Bureau's approval of the target for entering Beijing is strict and prudent. Therefore, under such circumstances, we have to give priority to local students who do not account for the target. In other words, discrimination has subjective and objective reasons. At the same time of the promulgation of this law, some personnel and labor systems can also be matched, otherwise it will be difficult to carry out in actual operation. However, in the final analysis, the current jobs in our country are too scarce, with too many monks and too few porridge.
