The Ministry Of Public Security Cracked Down On 8 Crimes Of Infringing Intellectual Property Rights.

The Ministry of public security today announced the phased progress in the special action against the infringement of intellectual property rights and the crime of counterfeiting and selling fake commodities. In the past month, more than more than 670 cases have been cracked, and the value of the case is worth more than 800 million yuan.

Meng Qingfeng, director of the leading group of special operations of the Ministry of public security and director of the Bureau of economic crime investigation, said that the key point of the "sword" action is to infringe on intellectual property rights, trademark rights, patent rights and new plant variety rights.

Among them, we should crack down on the following 8 kinds of criminal activities: printing and copying pirated publications, CD-ROM, software and counterfeiting registered trademarks; counterfeiting international and domestic brands; making counterfeit and shoddy drugs, food, agricultural materials, etc.

According to preliminary statistics, by the end of November this year, the public security organs in the whole country had been violated in the "sword" action.

Meng Qingfeng said that in order to intensify the crackdown, the Ministry of public security decided to classify the 50 major cases in the cases investigated by public security organs as the first batch of cases to supervise and handle the cases of "bright sword" and ensure that lawless elements are punished by law.

In the next stage, the public security organs will focus on combating the crime of pirating and selling fake and shoddy tobacco, food, clothing and other consumer goods during the new year and Spring Festival.
