Final Confirmation Before FTA Takes Effect

(2011) in December 14th, a senior economic official of the South Korean embassy said that Seoul had put pressure on the United States to speed up the process of mutual recognition and make the long-awaited freedom of the United States and South Korea free.

Ghee-wan Kim, Minister of economic affairs of the South Korean embassy, said at the informal International Symposium of University of Washington in Georgia, South Korea has amended 42 laws and regulations to ensure compliance with this historic agreement.

The United States must also complete the revision of the domestic law.

South Korea is determined to complete all the matching matters to facilitate the free trade.
