Roman Haas (China) Donate 500 Thousand

On the afternoon of May 12th, a strong earthquake of magnitude 8 occurred in Wenchuan County, Sichuan, China.

This is the most serious earthquake in China since the Tangshan earthquake.

The earthquake spread to many surrounding areas, causing huge losses to people's lives and property.

According to statistics, as at 12 on May 19th, Wenchuan, Sichuan, China, the 8 earthquake in the city of Wenchuan has caused 34073 people to be killed and 245108 injured.

Rohm And Haas Company announced on the 15 day that the Red Cross Society of China donated 500 thousand yuan to Sichuan earthquake stricken area to support the rescue work in the Sichuan earthquake hit area in May 12th.

At the same time, Roman Haas also called on the employees to take part in the donation activities at the first time.
