6 Bangladesh Garment Factories Are In Compliance With The Relevant Laws And Regulations.
< p > the engineering and Technical University of Bangladesh (BUET) recently formed a task force to investigate the construction safety of 70 garment enterprises. The survey shows that only 6 of the 70 factories comply with the relevant regulations, and the remaining 64 enterprises have structural deviation or potential risks. < /p >

Mohamed Mujibur Rahman, the head of the task force, said: "we have informed the owners of the 4 factories immediately to carry out detailed analysis of the plant layout, geological examination documents and safety equipment plan to avoid disaster." the head of the task force added that in the next 3~6 months, they will also require all owners to conduct further structural analysis. < /p >

It is understood that 60% of the enterprises jointly carry out production with other units in public buildings, and 10% of the enterprises are produced in factories converted from residential buildings, and only 30% of the factories are produced in specialized buildings.
