Wenling Plastic Shoes Are Among The Top 100 Industrial Clusters In China

Recently, the "seminar on sustainable development of China's industrial clusters" sponsored by the Institute of industrial economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the list of "2008 China's 100 best industrial clusters" was announced.

As one of the eight leading industries in our city, the shoe industry has formed a complete industrial chain. Once there is market demand, it can quickly form productive forces, complete industrial chains, and a large number of skilled workers, so that our city shoe industry cluster has strong market competitiveness.

This year, under the pressure of tight macroeconomic policies, international economic fluctuations, and the growth of key elements, the footwear industry in our city is still growing at a certain rate.

In the 1-7 month, the footwear industry achieved 4 billion 544 million yuan of industrial output value, an increase of 8.7% over the same period last year, achieving a sales value of 4 billion 434 million yuan, an increase of 9.1% over the same period last year, reaching 3 billion 143 million yuan for export delivery.

Our city has also been named "China's shoe industry" and "China's footwear export base".
